Azerbaijan, Baku / / Trend / In 2007 The Oil Refining plant after the name of Heydar Aliyev produced 85,000 tons of coke, which is by 17,500 tons more as compared to 2006. In spite of there was not a plan to produce coke in 2007, it is produced from January to February in small amounts, the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) reports. In March coke production was suspended and later in April it was restored.
Totally, in 2006 about 67,240 tons of coke was produced. Coke did not produced by the enterprise in 2005. The Russian Alumni plant is the main user of the oil-coke produced in Azerbaijan.
