Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend / In 2007 the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) exported 8mln tons of oil. The figure made up 5mln tons in 2006, the Marketing and Economic Operation Department of SOCAR reports.
SOCAR exported 1.2mln tons of oil via the Baku-Novorossiysk route in 2007.
The Baku-Supsa route was not in operation due to re-construction in 2007. However, some 1.15mln tons of oil was transported via the Baku-Supsa route in 2006.
Some 221,200 tons of oil in 2007 and 1.135mln tons in 2006 was exported to the Georgian Black Sea port in Batumi.
SOCAR exported 6.5mln tons of oil in 2007 and 1.143mln tons in 2006 through the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline.
