Azerbaijan, Baku, 21 January / Trend corr. S.Aliyev / In 2007, the joint ventures and operating companies working in the onshore fields of Azerbaijan produced nearly 1.2mln tons of oil, a reduction of 1.6% from last year, a source at the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan stated. In December joint ventures and operating companies produced 101,000 tons of oil.
The largest volume of oil production came from the operating company Salyan Oil which is developing the contractual site Kursang-Garabagli and producing 308,400 tons of oil.
