2nd Caspian Oil and Gas Trade and Transport Conference to be Held in Baku

Azerbaijan, Baku, 28 January / Trend / The 2nd Caspian Oil and Gas Trade and Transport Conference will be held in Baku on 23-25 April focusing on the oil and gas sphere of the region as part of the world energy sources market. The conference will be held by company Energy Ltd, one of the leading organizers of the specialized oil and gas conferences, together with the Stare Oil Academy of Azerbaijan.

The conference will focus on the issues of the macro integration of the Caspian as one of the most significant oil and gas resources of the 21st Century into the system of world energy markets and on the analysis of the influence of the export to the economy and oil and gas spheres of the Caspian sea countries, the energy markets of these countries, the trade in the region, the transport infrastructure and transit as well.

More than 150 businessmen and specialists from 20 countries and the representatives of the profile ministries of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Russia, Iran and Georgia are expected to take part in the conference. The 1st Caspian oil and trade-transport conference was held in Baku on April 2007.

Discussions at the conference will include the macroeconomic aspects of the Caspian sea development, the export routes, the trade of oil and mineral oil, ports and terminals, natural gas in the region, its production and transportation.

The representatives of the governmental organizations, the directors of large, integrated oil companies, independent oil production companies, the operators of oil-loading terminals and oil and gas trade and transport companies will participate in the conference as well.
