Azerbaijan, Baku, 5 April / Trend / In January to March Azerbaijan received 552.6mln cu.m of gas from gas-condensate field Shan Deniz, an increase of more than three times than the last year, a source at State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) said.
In 2008 Azerbaijan plans to receive 2.9bln cu.m of gas from Shah Deniz.
Currently four wells function on the field. The potential daily production is nearly 22mln cu.m. of gas.
Some 8.6bln cu.m of gas will be produced within the Stage-1 of Shah Deniz development project per year.
