Azerbaijan, Baku, 7 April / Trend / From January to March, Azerbaijan International Operating Company (AIOC), which develops offshore Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli fields, has produced nearly 9mln tons of Azeri Light oil as compared to 8.2mln tons in the same period in 2007.
Of the total volume of the produced oil in the first quarter, 1.519mln is from Chirag and 7.560mln from Azeri.
In March, the oil production in Chirag field made up 552,300 tons as compared to 599,200 tons in March 2007. Some 2.7mln tons of oil was produced on Azeri field against 2.3mln in March 2007.
