Azerbaijan Generates about 9.6bln Kwt/h Energy in January to May 2008
Azerbaijan, Baku, 6 June / Trend / Some 9.6bln KWt/h energy was generated in Azerbaijan in January to May 2008 against 10bln KWt/h in January to May 2007, Azerenrji said.
More than 8.2bln kWt/h of the generated energy accounts for the thermoelectric power station and about 1.4bln kWt/h for the hydroelectric power stations.
Some 1.6bln kWt/h energy was generated by Azerenerji in May, the press service of Azerenerji OJSC said.
Some 1.4bln KWt/h of the generated energy accounts for the thermoelectric power station and about 0.2bln kWt/h for the hydroelectric power stations. In May, the power flow was continued with the neighboring countries including Russia, Iran and Georgia.
