Azerbaijan,   Kazakhstan to Increase Caspian Oil Supply – OPEC

Azerbaijan, Baku, 16 June / Trend corr A. Badalova/ By 2010, oil supplies of non-OPEC countries will increase by 1.5mln barrels to 48mln barrels per day. "Export growth from the Caspian region will be achieved mainly through Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan," OPEC-developed World Oil Outlook-2007 says.

Oil production in Azerbaijan will be increasing by 2010 due to development of large BP-operated Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli field. Oil production in Kazakhstan may grow through Tengiz, Karachaganak and Buzachi fields.

According to OPEC, oil supplies of non-OPEC countries will total 45mln barrels per day by 2030, while in 2008 it is 50.13mln barrels per day. Oil production in the Caspian Sea will comprise 5mln barrels per day by 2030.

OPEC oil supplies will ascend to 38mln barrels per day by 2020 and to 49mln barrels per day by 2030.
