Ceyhan Port Dispatches 500th Tanker with Azerbaijan’s Oil
Turkey, Ankara. 17 June / Trend corr T. Aliyev/ The International terminal, named after Heydar Aliyev, in the Turkish Ceyhan port loaded the 500th tanker with Azerbaijani oil. According to Turkish company BOTAS, which operates the terminal, the Maltese tanker with 630,000 barrels of oil has left the port.
Azerbaijani light oil is transported to Turkish Ceyhan port via Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) pipe. During two years of operation, BTC has pumped over 394mln barrels oil. BOTAS administration thinks that the results achieved are rather good.
