Azerbaijan, Baku, 23 June / Trend / For the first time a delegation of the Azerbaijani Industry and Energy Ministry, led by Natig Aliyev, the Minister, participated in a traditional summit of oil producers and consumers held in Jeddah (Saudi Arabia), the Ministry said on 23 June.
Aliyev delivered a report to the summit. Participants discussed the increase tendencies of oil and oil product prices in the world market.
Abdulla bin Abdulaziz al Saud, the King of Saudi Arabia, presided over this summit. Delegations from 36 countries, as well as, the 25 huge oil companies of the world, and international organizations including the International Energy Agency and the International Monetary Fund, participated in this forum.
Rasim Mammadov, head of the Ministry Administration, accompanied the Industry and Energy Minister during the visit.
