Azerbaijan, Baku, 15 October / Trend corr. E.Ismayilov /Baku Deep Water Jacket Plant Named after Heydar Aliyev owned by the SOCAR company (State Oil Company of Azerbaijan) plans to put into operation new computer coking setting system management in the first half of 2009, a source from the plant said.
The management system in the setting has become out of date, and there is need to replace it, a source said.
The works directed to install the system have launched. The ordered equipment by the American Honeywell company is delivered to the plant in parts. The main demand for the new computer system is to provide safety management, security and clear technological operations.
Honeywell provides technologies and equipment to automate and put into operation industrial objects. Company's atomization systems were installed in 12 or 13 largest oil refining in Russia.
In 2009, the computer system is expected to install on the reforming system.
In 2008, the plant is expected to produce 5mln tons of oil, which SOCAR produces from fields at its own expenses. The monthly oil development in the plant is 410,000 tons.
