Natural Gas Supply to Azerbaijan’s Agstafa Region Restoring

Azerbaijan, Kazakh, 20 October / Trend corr. T.Zaur /"About 6,000 subscribers in ten villages and two settlements have been provided with gas in the Agstafa region in Azerbaijan," Elkhan Mammadov, the Chief of the Gas Exploitation Department, said. The number of subscribers, who will be provided with gas, is expected to touch 8,000.

The gas supply to 513 subscribers in the Tatli, Kohne Gishlag and Yaradullah villages, which are bordering with Armenia, has been started. In November, the gas supply to the Hasansu, Eynulla and Kocaskar villages are expected to be restored. The number of subscribers in these villages touches 765 people.

The gas supply is restored in aforesaid villages at the internal expenses and through assistance of municipalities, Mammadov added.

The gas supply to the Ashagi Kasaman and Zalimkhan villages will be restored at the state expenses. About 1,000 subscribers will be provided with gas in this region.
