K.Konirova/ The 2nd 'The oil products market in the Central Asia: development tendencies, technology and equipment for filling stations' international conference will be held in Almaty on 13 and 14 November, a source from the KazMunaygas Trade House reported.
"The conference's goal is to find solution to issues of the day related to oil products not only in Kazakhstan, but in other countries of the Central Asian region," the company reported.
The conference will unite 200 representatives from oil companies, traders, oil processors, companies occupied with transport of oil products, fuelers and chartering organizations from Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan and Russia.
"Participants of the conference will consider the possibility of establishment of the Fuel Union in Kazakhstan to represent participants' interests through civilized way and interaction with state organizations," a source said.
The conference's program includes discussions of relevant issues like the dynamic use and price situation on fuel markets; state policy to regulate the oil product market and export and import relations in the fuel segment, as well as to monitor quality indexes of fuel.
Participants of the conference will get familiarized with plans to develop national wholesale network, oil companies' positions to develop oil product market and new solution for concomitant services in filling stations.
This conference will become a dialogue area for players of oil product market and state organizations, which are responsible for implementation of state policy on the oil product market.
