Azerbaijan, Baku, 11 November / corr Trend I.Alizade / "In 2008, Azerigaz CJSC (transportation and distribution of gas) resumed gas delivery to Azerbaijan's four regions," Alikhan Malikov, the head of CJSC, said.
"In January 2008, gas delivery was resumed in Agjabadi region, in April in Beylagan region, in October in Fizuli and Agdam regions. Presently, all Azerbaijani regional centers are supplied with gas. Work on gasification of settlements and villages will continue in future," Malikov said.
Availability of gas reserves is necessary for this and work continues in this regard, he said. Presently, nearly 1.4bln cu m of gas is reserved in Garadagh and Galmaz gas-holders (1.05bln cu.m was pumped this year and 380mln cu.m have left from last year), Malikov stated.
Subscribers of the country will be supplied completely with blue fuel in autumn and winter 2008 due to this gas and raw material, received from State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR), head of CJSC said.
