The talks are expected to focus on prospects of cooperation in the sphere of energy.
Recently the European Commission proposed to establish Caspian Development Corporation to deal with the export of a natural gas from the Caspian region, coordination of investments for the development of fuel and energy complex and transportation of energy sources through the Caspian Sea.
Brussels says that EU has been assured by Ashgabat that it is possible to deliver 10bln cu m of natural gas to Europe a year.
