Azerbaijan, Baku, Dec.17 / Trend / The State Statistics Committee officials reported that from January to November 2008, approximately 4.4mln tons of oil products were sold to the internal market of Azerbaijan, which is 4.1% more compared to the same period of 2007.
Some 844,800 tons of the total volume of oil products was petrol, which is an increase of 17.6% from the previous year. The wholesale price of one ton of А-92 gasoline in the internal market (VAT and transportation costs inclusive) is AZN 670 and А-95 is AZN 736. In January to November, Azpetrol received 432,500 tons of diesel fuel of the aforementioned amount (LUKoil - 130,000 tons).
In January to November 2008, 930,300 tons of diesel fuel was sold to the domestic market, which is by 44.2 % more compared to the mentioned period in 2007. The wholesale cost of 1ton of diesel fuel (VAT and transportation costs inclusive) is AZN 485. Azpetrol received 307,000 tons of diesel fuel of the aforementioned amount (LUKoil - 100,500 tons). The Azerbaijani State Caspian Sea Shipping Company purchased 15,800 tons of diesel fuel, as well as almost the whole amount of motor fuel.
Most of all of mazut oil was sold in the internal market. From January to November, 884,400 tons of fuel oil was sold, which is 43.7% less than in the same period of 2007. The wholesale price of 1 ton of М-40 fuel oil in Azerbaijan is AZN 100 (including delivery and VAT). Azerenerji JSC received 448,400 tons of fuel oil and the Heydar Aliyev Oil Refinery Plant 330,000 tons for further refinery.
A total of 489,400 tons of aviation kerosene was sold, 12.8% more than in 2007. The price of aviation kerosene was AZN 307 per ton (including delivery and VAT).
The sale of petroleum bitumen totaled 171,300 tons, an increase of 17.2 % from 2007. The wholesale price of 1 ton of bitumen BN 60/90 (VAT and transportation costs inclusive) was AZN 160.
From January to November, 86,700 tons of butane-propane gas (LPG) was sold, 31.9 % less compared to the mentioned period in 2007.
The other 938,200 tons of oil products were also sold, more by 75.1% than in 2007.
