The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (Socar) reports that its Heydar Aliyev Baku Oil Refinery (formerly Azneftyanajag) produced roughly 181,130 tons of liquefied gas in 2008, compared to 145,030 tons in 2007. Butane-butylene fraction comprised the entire amount of produced liquefied gas.
In 2006, butane-butylene fraction production was 148,220 tons, compared to 129,620 tons in 2005.
In 2008, as in 2007 and 2006, the company did not produce propane-propylene fraction. In 2005, propane-propylene production was 3,020 tons.
