OPEC forecasts for Azerbaijan to increase oil supplies in 2009

Azerbaijan, Baku, Jan. 17/ Trend A. Badalova/ OPEC forecasts for Azerbaijan to increase oil supplies by 0.18 million barrel per day - to 1.08 million barrel per day in 2009. This index is 53,000 barrel a day less the volume forecast by OPEC last month.

The volume of country's supplies will total 1.03 million barrel per day in the first quarter 2009, 1.09 million barrel in the second quarter, 1.08 million barrel in the third quarter and 1.12 million barrel per day in the fourth quarter, according to forecasts.

The volume of Kazakhstan's oil supplies, according to OPEC forecast, totals 1.48 million barrel per day in 2009 that 70,000 barrel per day more than the volume in 2008 and 25,000 barrel per day less than the volume forecast by OPEC last month. The volume of country's supplies will total 1.51 million barrel per day in the first and second quarters, 1.38 million barrel in the third quarter and 1.52 million barrel per day in the fourth quarter.

The total volume of oil supplies of countries which aren't included in cartel will be increased by 0.58 million barrel per day - to 51.15 million barrel per day that 70,000 barrel per day less the volume forecast by OPEC last month. The biggest volume of these countries' supplies will be observed in the first quarter - 51.39 million barrel per day, the smallest one in the third quarter - 50.88 million barrel per day.

Thus, 12.7 million barrel per day will fall on republics of the former Soviet Union of total volume supplies of countries which aren't members of OPEC, 19.68 million barel per day on countries members of the Organization for Economic Coopeartion and Development (OECD).
