In January to November, 2008, Azerbaijan imported 199,500 tons of various metallic pipes to use them in the onshore and offshore fields - a decrease of 6.5 percent than in the same period of 2007.
According to the Azerbaijan State Statistical Committee, the pipes cost roughly 266 million dollars, or 14.6 percent less than in 11 months of 2007.
