An annual forecast for oil price in the Azerbaijani public budget may be cut from the current $70 to $50 per barrel, the Entrepreneurship and Market Economy Development Support Fund President Sabit Bagirov said.
Oil price is too changeable at the moment, he said. Not only the factors, such as OPEC's reducing oil production, but also speculative factors influence on changes, Bagirov said on March 2.
According to forecasts, oil price may up to $50 per barrels in July.
At present, oil price in the country's budget amounts to $70 per barrel. Macroeconomic indexes of the Azerbaijani 2009 budget may be reconsidered in May.
