In January-March 2009, the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) reports that its Baku-based Heydar Aliyev Refinery Plant (formerly Azneftyanajag) produced 13,500 tons of oil coke, compared to 30,600 tons in 2008.
The total production of oil coke at the Baku Refinery Plant was 9,100 tons in March 2009.
Roughly 168,930, 84,740 and 67,240 tons of coke were produced in 2008, 2007 and 2006 respectively. The refinery did not produce oil coke in 2005.
