Greece is studying the ways and methods of supply of Azerbaijani natural gas to other countries, Azerbaijan-Greece inteparliamentary working group head Konstantinos Tsiaras said at a meeting with deputy industry and energy minister of Azerbaijan Gulmammad Javadov in Baku.
"Greece is interested in energy sector and favor energy cooperation with Azerbaijan," Tsarias said.
Javadov said at a meeting that implementation of projects of international cooperation between Azerbaijan and Greece, in particular the prospects in the transportation of Azerbaijani energy supplies to Europe through Greece will contribute to economic development, stability and security in the region.
Tsiaras said Greece supports the cooperation of Azerbaijan with the European Union (EU) and is ready to share experience for even closer relations with the EU.
Relations between Azerbaijan and the EU in the energy sector are enhancing, Javadov said.
