"Discussions are being held with the Persian Gulf countries to export the Iranian gas. In the near future, Iran and Oman will sign an agreement to export the Iranian gas to this country," Director of the National Iranian Oil Company Seyfulla Dzhashnsaz said on May 15, the Iranian SHANA news agency reported.
Dzhashnsaz said the discussions are currently being held with Kuwait, Oman, Bahrain and the UAE to export of the Iranian gas to these countries. "Discussions with all the countries are held in a positive direction vein, but I think that the signing of an agreement with Oman will take place earlier than with other countries," Dzhashnsaz said.
