In January-May, Heydar Aliyev Oil Refinery (former Azneftyag) owned by SOCAR produced about 55,000 tons of liquefied gas compared to 70,000 tons in January-May 2008.
The refinery produced 11,100 tons of liquefied gas in May.
SOCAR produced about 181,130 tons of liquefied gas in 2008 and 145,030 in 2007. Butane-butylene fraction accounted for the entire volume of liquefied gas.
Production of butane-butylene fraction was 148,220 tons in 2006 and 129,620 tons in 2005.
No propane-propylene fraction was produced by the refinery in 2008, 2007 and 2006. Propane-propylene production was 3,020 tons in 2005.
