SOCAR's engineering-geologic craft Zohrab Veliyev (the state oil company of Azerbaijan) conducted geologic research in Turkmen sector of the Caspian Sea, SOCAR said on July 1.
Two 80 and 60 meter-geologic wells were drilled within conducted operations with taking samples of core. Statistic probe of three wells was conducted to study physic-mechanic properties of upper parts of section of underwater soil in laboratory terms.
Craft Zohrab Veliyev conducted operations in Turkmen sector of the Caspian Sea twice, including Banka of LAM and Banka of Livanov, as well as for Lukoil Company in Russian Sector of the Caspian Sea in the field Rakushechnoe during 2009.
Presently, craft fills up water resources and products. Technical preventive measures are conducted in the craft. The craft will set for Banka of Zhdanov to Turkmen field in the nearest future.
