Freight transportation improves at Georgian railroad. Situation became better though there is no wished result, head of Georgian railroad transportation department David Jinjolia said.

"Situation is better but there is much work to do. As to U.S Chevron and ExxonMobil companies, these two companies continue to transport freights. But we failed to achieve volume before protest actions," Jinjolia said.

U.S companies transport oil and oil products. ExxonMobil transports oil extracted at Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli block via railroad to Georgian Black Sea port of Batumi. Chevron transports oil extracted in Kazakhstan at Tengiz field to Batumi port via Azerbaijan.

It should be noted that leadership of Georgian railroad stated that freight transportation reduced 35 percent after launching of protest actions.
