Romania, Georgia intend to export liquefied gas from Turkmenistan to Europe

Romanian experts will consider construction of terminals for liquefied gas in Black Sea ports of Georgia. The agreement was achieved during the meeting of Romanian and Georgian delegations (headed by the President Mikheil Saakashvili) in Ankara within signing of the agreement on Nabucco gas pipeline.  

The agreement on visit of Romania experts to Georgia was achieved during two weeks.

It deals with terminals on liquefied gas pumping to be transported to Georgia from Turkmenistan via railroad and exported to European countries.

Georgian energy minister Alexander Khetaguri said that this project will increase export and transit potentialities of Georgia. So, this project has great interest for economy of Georgia.
