Aktau international sea trade port transported over 5.5 million tons of oil-loading freights in January-June compared to over 4.4 million tons in January-May, sea trade port said.
Aktau international sea trade port transported 1.1 million tons of oil-loading freights in June compared to 860,400 tons in May.
Roughly one million tons of dry freights were transported in January-June compared to 770,500 tons in January-May.
Total volume of Aktau international sea trade port's transportation hit 6.6 million tons of dry and oil-loading freights in January-June. This index hit 1.3 million tons in June.
Roughly 963 ships operated in Aktau port during January-June.
Presently, there are six international sea ports - Baku (Azerbaijan), Astrakhan (Russia), Turkmenbashi (Turkmenistan), Aktau (Kazakhstan), Enzeli and Neka (Iran) in the Caspian Sea.
