JPMorgan expects gas price rise in 2010

The world's one of giant banks, U.S. JPMorgan forecasts that an average gas price will be $166.15 per thousand cubic meters in 2009.

This year, a maximum price for gas will be observed in the fourth quarter - at $196.67 per thousand cubic meters.

In 2010, an average gas price will be $218.35 per thousand cubic meters which is by $9.19 more than the price forecast by the bank earlier. Gas price will amount to $238.94 per thousand cubic meters in the last quarter of 2010.

"Last month we increased our forecasts on gas price in 2010 and at present we expect emergence of conditions supporting the price in future," JPMorgan analysts said.
