"Kyrgyzstan is slow to solve issues with hydropower projects, regardless certain agreements signed in this sphere," representatives of the Bishkek office of the CIS countries' Institute told journalists Thursday, "24.kg".

The Institute's director Alexander Knyazev says that Kyrgyzstan takes no efforts to reach any consensus with Uzbekistan on Kambarata project's implementation. Although, Uzbekistan in spring 2009 spoke about willingness to invest in Kyrgyz hydropower projects. "I believe this is a loophole that would help in solving of many important issues," Knyazev said.
