Palmali group of companies has launched the Borchali tanker of the IMO2 type, produced at the Tuzla Shipyard (Turkey), the company said.

The tanker was launched for testing purposes.

Volume and load-lifting capacity of the tanker is 14,000 tons, length - 142.98 m, width - 21.7 meters.

Three other tankers, including Shusha, Khankendi and Khojaly, which are also being built at this plant, will be commissioned this year. Deadweight of each of them is 14,000 tons. After the Borchali tanker, the Shusha tanker will be put into operation.

On July 7, Palmali bought two "IMO2" tankers. Despite the global crisis, the company has expanded the fleet with two more tankers with a 14,000-ton of capacity. Both of them have been built in the Turkish Celik Tekne Shipyard. They will be launched this year.
