SOCAR's Azerigaz PU intends to resume Azerbaijani gas supply to Iran from October 1, PU deputy director general Nazim Samedzadeh said on October 1.
Supplies are resumed after repairing at gas-distributing station in Astara.
Samedzadeh said that Azerigaz also intends to supply Azerbaijani gas to the amount of 1 million cubic meters per day to the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic during autumn-winter period.
Azerbaijan supplies gas to Iran within swap operations. In its turn, Iran supplies fuel to the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic being in blockade.
