Kyrgyzstan pays out $3.5M of its gas debt to Uzbekistan
Kyrgyzstan has paid out $3.5 million of its gas debt to Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzgas company informed the news agency 24.kg Monday. Other $2 million will be reportedly transferred to Uzbekistan this week. Salamat Aitikeev, the Director General of Kyrgyzgas will leave for Tashkent on October 13 to resume talks over gas supply to Kyrgyzstan in 2010. Exclusively of the repaid sum, Kyrgyzstan's gas debt amounts to $15.5 million.
