Azerbaijan, Baku, Oct. 15 / Trend , E.Ismayilov/
Under the Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (EITI), a multilateral group will be formed from representatives of government, extractive companies and the NGO coalition, the head of State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan (SOFAZ) Shahmar Movsumov said a news conference on Oct. 15.
He said the multilateral group would take part in the development and approval of the next report under EITI.
"Signing a document on the establishment of group is a technical issue, since the EITI participants in Azerbaijan are over 25 companies, which must also take part in the signing," said Movsumov. Terms of the document has already been agreed.
A multilateral group is expected to comprise three people from the government, extractive companies and a coalition of NGOs.
