Chevron interested in exploitation of Turkmen gas fields

Chevron hopes to be Turkmenistan's long-term partner in a project on natural gas production. The company is ready to invest capital of many billions necessary for safe, effective and pure development and extraction of hydrocarbons.

President of Chevron Nebitgaz B.V, Douglas Uchikura, told about it within his participation in the international investment forum held in Ashgabat one of these days. 

"We will more strengthen Turkmenistan's position as a supplier of energy resources on the world markets by achieving joint success. The U.S Company has work experience with more than 100 countries," he said.   

"Cooperation on a long-term basis in this sphere will allow achieving significant growth of natural gas production in Turkmenistan. It is one of key strategic purposes of the country," Uchikura said.

The company has modern technologies and experience in seismic investigations, drilling and exploitation of gas fields. There is experience in all spheres of industry connected with crude oil and natural gas, including exploration and extraction, production, sale, transportation, etc.
