Azerenergy joint stock company plans to put into operation a power plant with a capacity of 500 MW in the Sumgayit city in November, Head of Azerenergy Etibar Pirverdiyev said on Oct.20. .
"The work on construction of the power station has been completed. The start-up and test-run operations have also ended. We plan to launch the power station in November," Pirverdiyev said.
The station consists of three turbines, two of which are gas and one - steam.
