The Heydar Aliyev Deep Water Jackets Plant of the SOCAR (State Oil Company of Azerbaijan) plans to increase production of welding electrodes up to 2,000 tons a year, soon, SOCAR said.
After five-year suspension, the plant has restored the welding rod production. Thus, in January-October 2009, the plant produced two types of electrodes, 217 tons of which transferred to SOCAR's enterprises and the remaining 100 tons used for its own needs.
