Strengthening of Azerbaijani energy independence is one of major tasks of development of Azerbaijani oil and gas complex, the Azerbaijani state budget draft said.
Other priority trends are expansion of use of Azerbaijani fuel-energy complex to increase production of all the industry.
Other priority tasks of development of oil and gas complex on the state budget draft include intensification of export oil and gas activity, increase of export potential of initial and secondary oil and gas resources, as well as strengthening of Azerbaijani transport independence in export of oil and gas resources.
New fields are planned to be searched and explored. Open fields will be used for full development. New wells which are under exploitation will be drilled at the fields. Inoperative wells will be restored. A new technique and technologies will be used to increase coefficient of oil delivery. Oil and gas transportation infrastructure will be developed to improve reconstruction, modernize extraction, transportation, oil and gas processing and more active participation in large regional projects. Computerized control-information network and automated oil and gas account knot to optimize control over oil and gas combined transportation processes, as well as expansion of use of modern experience and scientific-technical achievements in oil extraction. All these measures will be made to develop Azerbaijani fuel-energy complex.
