In January-October, Joint Stock Company Azerenergy (the largest electricity producer in Azerbaijan) received over 3.6 billion cubic meters of gas compared to approximately 3.9 billion cubic meters during the same period of 2008, said the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR), which delivers gas to Azerenergy.
In October, Azerenergy received 282.4 million cubic meters of gas.
In 2008 Azerenergy got around five billion cubic meters of gas. In 2007 this figure amounted to 3.4 billion.
