The average price on Euro-Super 95 petrol hit 1,231 euro per 1,000 liters in 27 EU countries last week (Dec. 28-Jan.4). Statistics on petrol prices is posted on the European Commission's website.
The highest price was observed in the Netherlands. The price was 1,437 euro per 1,000 liters the previous week.
The lowest price was 922 euro per 1,000 liters in Cyprus.
Denmark took the second place in the list of countries with the most expensive Euro-Super 95. The price hit 1,374 euro per 1,000 liters.
Finland took the third place in the list of countries with the most expensive Euro-Super 95. The price was 1,358.
Germany took fourth place for most expensive petrol. The price hit 1,314 euro per 1,000 liters.
The price was 1,302 euro per 1,000 liters in Portugal last week.
Prices hit 1,293 euro per 1,000 liters in Italy the previous week.
The price was 1,273 euro per 1,000 liters in Belgium the previous week.
France took the eighth place. The price hit 1,252 euro per 1,000 liters last week.
The price was 1,235 euro per 1,000 liters in the Sweden last week.
The UK took the tenth place in the list of EU countries last week. The price was 1,226 euro per 1,000 liters.
