A Canadian delegation headed by the Deputy Foreign Affairs and Trade Minister Deepak Obhreyem visited Ashgabat, the Turkmen governmental press-service reported
The Canadian companies are represented in the Turkmen oil and gas sector and involved in exploration and increasing the capacity of thermal power station
The delegation had meetings at the Turkmen Parliament, Foreign Ministry, Oil and Gas and Mineral Resources Ministry.
The Canadian delegation discussed prospects of further expansion of interstate cooperation.
Obhreyem was familiarized with the basic aspects of domestic and foreign policy of neutral Turkmenistan. The sides noted necessity of the regular contacts and consultations at the level of the countries' foreign ministries
