Turkmenistan auctions 400,000 tons of oil products

Turkmenistan auctioned 400,000 tons of oil products from the Turkmenbashi refinery, and refineries in the Saydi and Nayip gas-processing complex today at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange.

The country put as stock trades about 60,000 tons of liquefied gas, 32,000 tons of jet fuel, 50,000 of gasoline A-92, 30,000 of gasoline A-80   and 20,000 tons of straight-run gasoline.

At last week's auction registered 22 transactions. Businessmen from the Virgin Islands purchased aviation kerosene from the Turkmenbashi refinery.

The Commodity Exchange is a principal organ of state regulation of export-import operations in Turkmenistan.
