In 2010, SOCAR (State Oil Company of Azerbaijan) exported from its own oil refineries about 307,000 tons of oil products compared to 401,500 tons during the same period in 2009.
In February, SOCAR exported about 136,200 tons of oil products.
Oil products are produced at two Baku refineries with capacity of 20 million tons of oil per year. Two refineries enter SOCAR annually processing 7 million tons of oil extracted onshore and offshore owing to own funds.
