In January-February, the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) (excluding joint ventures and operating companies) drilled 23, 353 meters compared to 31, 738 meters for the same period of 2009, SOCAR said.
In February, the figure was 12,890 meters.
In 2009, SOCAR drilled 168,200 meters compared to about 203,000 meters in 2008. In 2007 this figure amounted to 190, 376 meters.
