SOCAR (State Oil Company of Azerbaijan) plans to put into operation the first filling station in Azerbaijan under its brand April 5, SOCAR Head Rovnag Abdullayev said today. Total number of Azerbaijan's filling stations in Azerbaijan is 26.
So far, SOCAR constructed and put into operation over 30 filling stations in Georgia. It is planned to put into operation 30 filling stations more in 2010.
Also the company develops its activities in the retail market of oil products in Ukraine. SOCAR is currently undertaking a rebranding of about 20 filling stations in this country. Beginning of oil products sales at these stations is expected in May.
