Azerbaijan is ready to create favorable conditions for access and use of its oil and gas infrastructure to export gas from the eastern shore of the Caspian Sea, the head of the gas export department of SOCAR (State Oil Company of Azerbaijan) Kamal Abbasov said at the First International Gas Congress in Turkmenistan.
"Azerbaijan has repeatedly stated that the Republic is prepared to create favorable conditions for access and use of its oil and gas infrastructure," said Abbasov.
According to him, the basic principles of the Republic's energy policy are to maximize profits from the sale of hydrocarbons, their reliable and stable sale.
"We are confident that this goal can be achieved through multidirectional routes of gas supply and diversification of customers and markets," said Abbasov.
