Bakielektrikshebeke JSC reduces volumes of electricity in April

In January-April JSC Bakielektrikshebeke (sale and distribution of electricity in Baku) purchased 3.05 billion kilowatt-hours from Azerenergy (production and distribution of electricity in Azerbaijan) compared to about 2.4 billion kilowatt hours in January March, Bakielektrikshebeke reported.

In 2009, "Bakielektrikshebeke" bought about 8.1 billion kilowatt-hours of electricity from Azerenergy.

In April, the company purchased 662,8 million kilowatt-hours of electricity compared to 786.4 million kilowatt-hours of March, the report said.

Bakielektrikshebeke's payments in January-April amounted to an average of 80.5 percent for Azerenergy's electricity. In April the figure was 91 percent compared to 81 percent in March.

The volume of Bakielektrikshebeke's payments in 2009 hit 84.44 percent.
