"Azerenergy" is working to determine the amount of damage caused by floods and mudflows that occurred in April-May, the company said.

The priority for the company are also the issues of reconstruction of transmission and distribution networks and the establishment of the power system in the disaster zone.

The greatest damage was made to Shirvan high-voltage-power net as a result of the destruction of the dam near the village of Bayramly in Sabirabad region, a message said.

A number of high-voltage power lines in Chagan and Azadkend villages of Sabirabad region - 110-kilovolt transmission line "Sabirabad", "Salyan", 330-kilovolt transmission line Shirvan were under threat of destruction.

Despite the fact that the foundations of pylons remained under water, electricity supply has not been terminated.

As a result of floods that occurred in the third decade of May, about 30 homes left without electricity in the village Meyniman of Hajigabul district.

In general, no problems with power supply were registered.

Transmission of electricity was stopped only in unpopulated areas, where water still remains.

After water decreases, 10 - and 6-kV transmission lines will be repaired and reconditioned.
