Baku will hold the first meeting of Azerbaijani-Syrian intergovernmental commission June 29-30, Syrian Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Sufian Al-Alao, who co-chairs the commission, told Trend.
He said that co-chairman of the commission is also Azerbaijani Minister of Agriculture Ismet Abbasov.
It is planned to sign agreements on avoidance of double taxation, cooperation in emergencies, the protection of cities and other documents.
The issues in the areas of energy, economy, agriculture, health, tourism, education, culture, banking cooperation are planned to be discussed during a meeting.
