SOCAR repairs wells on large offshore field

The State Oil Company of the Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) launched 11 wells after repair works from the Oily Rocks oil and gas fund management in the first five months of 2010.
According to the report, 4,059 tons of oil were produced from the wells.
SOCAR President Rovnag Abdullayev said earlier that the residual recoverable oil and gas reserves at Oily Rocks exceed 182 million tons of oil.
The field's geological reserves are 365 million tons. In accordance with the current project to develop the field, projects at Oily Rocks should be completed by 2035.
